Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Same in the End. Diaz has chosen Falling Down by Staind as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jimmy Brit has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jimmy Brit seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Diaz misses with an uppercut
and Brit counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brit lands a decent elbow from side control.
Diaz can't do much from the bottom here.

Brit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brit is one step ahead there.

Diaz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brit wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Diaz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Brit cracks Diaz with a big elbow.

Brit cracks Diaz with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Brit immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Diaz is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Brit!
