Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amir Zukic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karri Kemppainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zukic comes to the cage accompanied by 50 cent - Many man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amir Zukic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karri Kemppainen! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zukic shoots in but no luck this time. Left hook, right uppercut from Kemppainen. Zukic looks for a takedown but Kemppainen sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Kemppainen or perhaps it was just good defense by Zukic which made him look bad. Zukic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zukic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kemppainen has his hands on Zukic's head, controlling the position. Zukic throws a big right hand that misses. Zukic stops Kemppainen from standing up. Zukic throwing strikes from guard but Kemppainen blocks nicely. Zukic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zukic trying to control the position from guard on top but Kemppainen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zukic won't allow Kemppainen to sweep him here. Zukic trying to control but Kemppainen is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zukic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zukic tries for a takedown but Kemppainen circles away easily and Kemppainen counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amir Zukic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kemppainen working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Zukic is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kemppainen connects with a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. What's Zukic going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zukic is looking to regain half guard here but Kemppainen keeps moving and retains side control. Kemppainen stands up. Zukic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kemppainen pinned against the cage. Kemppainen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Zukic fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kemppainen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zukic to the mat! Zukic manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zukic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kemppainen manages to get himself to full guard.
Zukic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zukic with a flurry of punches that miss. Zukic trying to control but Kemppainen is working from the bottom. Kemppainen is looking to stand up but Zukic isn't so interested in that idea. Kemppainen keeping moving, preventing Zukic from controlling successfully. Kemppainen wants to stand but Zukic is controlling the position. Zukic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Zukic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kemppainen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kemppainen has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zukic working for a triangle but Kemppainen defends it easily.

Kemppainen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kemppainen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A nice inside leg kick there by Zukic. That's going to slow Kemppainen down. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zukic with a poor takedown and Kemppainen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Zukic! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karri Kemppainen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kemppainen wants to clinch. Zukic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kemppainen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Zukic lands a jab-cross combination. Kemppainen throws a leg kick so Zukic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kemppainen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zukic is controlling him. Kemppainen keeping full guard, as Zukic tries to pass. Zukic scoring with some ground and pound. Zukic won't allow Kemppainen to get back to his feet. Zukic throwing strikes from guard but Kemppainen blocks nicely. Zukic content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kemppainen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zukic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kemppainen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zukic shoots and misses and Kemppainen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zukic's guard. Zukic is looking for a triangle but Kemppainen pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Zukic tries to buck Kemppainen off but Kemppainen is having none of it. Zukic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kemppainen is trying to move to mount but Zukic reverses beautifully and ends up in Kemppainen's guard. Zukic trying to control the position from guard on top but Kemppainen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kemppainen wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Zukic is now in half guard. Zukic is working for a kimura but Kemppainen is defending it quite comfortably.
Kemppainen has hold of Zukic's hands but Zukic slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kemppainen is looking to escape. Zukic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kemppainen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zukic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kemppainen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zukic. Zukic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kemppainen's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zukic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kemppainen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Zukic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kemppainen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zukic won't be happy with that. Kemppainen lands some shots froms side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. You can see the frustration on Zukic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kemppainen is looking for a kimura. and Zukic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kemppainen's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zukic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Zukic scoring with punches from side control. Zukic scores with a couple of short elbows. Zukic works to advance to full mount. Kemppainen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Zukic working Kemppainen over with strikes here. Zukic looking to secure an arm triangle but Kemppainen defends it well. Kemppainen tries to hold on but Zukic pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zukic landing strikes from the mount. Kemppainen is trying to stand. Zukic working the ground and pound effectively.
Kemppainen is rocked! Kemppainen has left one of his arms exposed and Zukic doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kemppainen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
