Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raket Pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raket Pulver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raket Pulver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Quid! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Quid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Some wild striking there from Quid.
Quid tries to bum rush Pulver with a series of wild strikes but Pulver uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Quid misses with a wild combination.
Quid misses with a series of wild punches.
Pulver keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quid. A combination from Quid does no damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pulver. Pulver tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pulver swings around for an armbar but Quid sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pulver's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pulver is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pulver is breathing heavily. Quid is controlling Pulver's posture. Quid is looking to stand up but Pulver isn't so interested in that idea. Pulver wants to control from the top but Quid keeps moving. Quid looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Quid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pulver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pulver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quid's waist but Quid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pulver off to one side. Johnny Quid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab by Quid.
It looks like Raket Pulver has been cut. Quid misses with a wild combination.
A decent looking cross lands there for Quid. Quid just misses with a punch to the body.
Quid throws a series of punches but Pulver moves out of range. Quid fails with the takedown and Pulver counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pulver seems to be working for a kimura but Quid defends the submission attempt. Pulver wants to control but Quid is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pulver is just content to waste time from the top position. Quid takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Quid is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pulver prevents Quid from getting back to his feet. Quid looking to control.
Quid is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pulver is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quid dominated that round. The cut man is working on Raket Pulver's cut. That's time! Pulver's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Quid lands a two punch combo.
Pulver is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Quid. Raket Pulver is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Quid connects with a single shot there. A combination from Quid does no damage. Quid throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pulver counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Quid! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pulver moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Quid has worked his arm free - good work by Quid!
Quid manages to get back to half guard. Pulver is working for a submission of some sort.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Quid trying to control but Pulver postures up.
Quid wants to get back to his feet. Quid works his way to full guard. Good work. Pulver has gone for a leg lock! Quid slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pulver's guard. Pulver has a closed guard, preventing Quid from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulver trying to keep a closed guard but Quid is proving a slippery customer.
Pulver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Quid is one step ahead there. Quid trying to control but Pulver is working from the bottom. Quid pushing down on Pulver's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pulver is looking to improve his position.
Quid wants to stand up but Pulver has a hold of him and won't allow it. Pulver wants to improve his position but Quid is controlling well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Quid scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Quid waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Pulver. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Pulver to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Pulver is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Quid wants to stand but Pulver is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Raket Pulver's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Quid misses the shot to the body. Quid throws a right and a left that both miss. Quid misses with a jab, cross combination.

Quid throws a combination that misses and Pulver counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pulver. Pulver is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pulver is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Quid is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Quid has escaped and now he's on top! Pulver keeping moving, preventing Quid from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quid wanted to stand there but Pulver had control of the position. Quid wants to control from the top but Pulver keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pulver throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Quid is trying to control the action in half guard but Pulver is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Quid throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pulver on the side of the head. Quid lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pulver backs up against the cage.
Quid has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Pulver closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quid circles away. Quid tries to bum rush Pulver with a series of wild strikes but Pulver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulver slips a jab from Quid. Pulver slips a jab and a cross from Quid.
Pulver drives through with a takedown into guard. Pulver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quid swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pulver trying to control the position from guard on top but Quid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quid working for a triangle but Pulver defends it easily.
Quid wriggles free and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pulver fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Quid lands a two punch combo.
Quid has his takedown stuffed and Pulver counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quid is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raket Pulver. I think Quid has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
