Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Pardoel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pardoel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Trouble. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pardoel avoids it really well and circles away.
Pardoel closes the distance but Fire moves to the side

and Fire counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fire closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pardoel circles away.

Fire darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pardoel is trying to maintain the position but Fire is very close to passing his half guard.

Pardoel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fire on the ground.
Pardoel is looking to control Fire's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pardoel avoid being mounted?

Fire is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Pardoel with him. Pardoel is trying to defend but Fire has an arm under the chin now! Pardoel grimaces and is forced to tap out!
