Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hermes Croko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Wade!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Croko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Croko.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Croko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Croko stops Wade from standing up.
Croko throwing strikes from guard but Wade blocks nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hermes Croko.
Wade shoots in but no luck this time.
Wade darts in trying to clinch
and Croko counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wade is trying to force a seperation but Croko has the dominant position.
Croko jumps into guard, dragging Wade to the mat.
Wade wants to stand but Croko is controlling his posture from full guard.
Croko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Croko moves into full mount! Wade won't be happy about that!

Croko cracks Wade with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Croko tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Wade shoots in looking for a takedown but Croko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wade's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A frustrated look appears on Croko's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Wade is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Croko gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hermes Croko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Wade.
Wade tries for a takedown but Croko manages to get underhooks.
Croko is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wade can't fight it off and eventually Croko manages to take the fight to the floor. Wade looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Croko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wade avoids a punch combination nicely.
Croko misses with a few strikes there.
Croko shoots for a double leg takedown but Wade sprawls well. He's pushed Croko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Croko paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Croko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wade's guard.
Wade is working an open guard so Croko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Wade drops down looking for an ankle pick but Croko pulls his leg out and moves away.

Wade is breathing heavily.
Wade avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Croko controlling from the top position.
Croko passes Wade's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Croko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wade is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hermes Croko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wade tries to keep at a distance but Croko has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wade has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Croko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Croko pulls Wade into guard.
Croko pushes Wade off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Wade tries to clinch but Croko moves away
and Croko counters with a shoot takedown. Wade fights it but they end up in guard.
Croko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wade's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Croko wants to free his trapped foot but Wade is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Wade takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wade is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Croko scores with a couple of nice shots.

Croko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Croko works his way into side control.
Alex Wade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wade is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Croko locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Wade is forced to tap!
