Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Handrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bodo Koks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathan Handrow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bodo Koks! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Handrow moves in looking to clinch but Koks pushes him off. Handrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koks swats him away and circles back towards the center. Koks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Handrow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Koks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Handrow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koks swivels and escapes. Koks swings widly with a right hand
and Handrow counters with a low kick, right behind Koks 's knee. Handrow takes the fight into the clinch. Koks wants to break free but Handrow has control.
The referee calls for Handrow to work.
Koks lands a nice uppercut. Handrow manages to break the clinch.
Koks has taken the fight to the clinch.
Koks goes for a takedown attempt but Handrow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Handrow is on top in guard.
Koks controls Handrow momentarily but Handrow frees himself. Koks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Handrow trying to control the position from guard on top but Koks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Handrow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Handrow tries to stand but Koks is controlling from the bottom. Handrow wants to control from the top but Koks keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koks seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nathan Handrow wasn't doing enough on the ground. Koks moves into the clinch. Koks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Handrow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koks avoids it really well and circles away. Handrow gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Handrow shoots in but Koks avoids the takedown attempt easily. Koks has closed the distance and engaged Handrow in a clinch.

Handrow drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Handrow shoots in looking for a takedown. Koks tries to sprawl out of it but Handrow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd cheers as Koks lands an impressive looking overhand right. Handrow doesn't seem phased though. Nice straight punches there by Koks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Koks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Koks. Koks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Koks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Koks is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Handrow dodges the punch combination from Koks.

Bodo Koks dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Koks lands a glancing blow to the side of Handrow's head. Handrow shoots for a takedown but Koks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Koks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koks wants it to stay on the feet. Koks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Handrow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Koks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Handrow swats him away and circles back towards the center. Koks clinches up against the cage.

He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Handrow tries to pull guard but Koks won't allow it.

Handrow is really struggling to control Koks but he's trying to hold on to the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koks wants to stand up but Handrow is controlling him. Koks has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Nathan Handrow has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Koks wants to clinch up but Handrow keeps it at a distance. Koks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Koks scores with a sloppy right hand. Handrow should have avoided that one. Koks lands a head shot. Handrow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bodo Koks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Handrow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Koks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Nathan Handrow just wasn't active enough. Handrow fails with a takedown attempt. Handrow shoots in for a double leg but Koks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Handrow presses Koks against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Handrow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Koks smiles and moves away.
Nice shot lands for Koks. Handrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Koks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Koks pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Handrow back to the cage. Koks follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Good shot there by Koks. Bodo Koks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Koks feints a jab promting Handrow to slip. Koks then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Handrow slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

And that's the end of the fight! Bodo Koks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Koks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
