Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Maloney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maloney comes into the arena with enter sandman-metallica blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaun Maloney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Damien Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maloney fails to land with a series of punches.
Reynolds closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Reynolds prevents Maloney from breaking the clinch. Reynolds drags the fight down to the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reynolds is on top in guard.
Reynolds drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reynolds jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Maloney is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maloney keeping moving, preventing Reynolds from controlling successfully. Reynolds is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Maloney wants to sweep here but Reynolds controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds stands up and waves to Maloney to follow him. Reynolds takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Maloney throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reynolds. Shaun Maloney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maloney paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maloney connects with a nice looking jab.
Reynolds gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maloney. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maloney catches Reynolds with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Maloney scores with a one two! Reynolds had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Maloney lands a jab-cross combination. Reynolds drops his hands momentarily and Maloney takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Reynolds is rocked! Reynolds walks straight into a right hand from Maloney - that's dropped him! Maloney jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Reynolds from any more punishment! Reynolds complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Shaun Maloney! Shaun Maloney took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Violent By Design for their support in the buildup to the fight.
