Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom DeLuise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock has chosen Guns N Roses- Sweet Child O Mine as his entrance music. Dom DeLuise has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock scores with a shot to the body.
Rock throws a big shot that misses.
DeLuise throws a head kick that misses
and Rock counters with a nice uppercut.
Rock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Rock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
DeLuise tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A shot to the body from Rock misses
and DeLuise counters with a good low kick that Rock was not able to check.
Rock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but DeLuise moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nice uppercut lands for Rock. That snapped DeLuise's head back.
Rock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
DeLuise connects with a leg kick. Rock looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A bone on bone clash there as DeLuise blocks the leg kick.
Rock takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
DeLuise throws a right and a left that Rock avoids nicely.

Rock tries to score with a low kick but DeLuise moves his leg out of the way.

DeLuise slips under a jab.
Rock feints and then cracks DeLuise's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow DeLuise down.

DeLuise misses with a combination
and Rock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

DeLuise manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rock manages to get himself to full guard.

Lance Rock dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeLuise pinned against the cage. DeLuise gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rock connects with the punch.
A clash of legs there as DeLuise blocks the low kick.
Dom DeLuise is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rock lands with an uppercut that bounces DeLuise off the cage and back into range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rock holds on and takes a little breather.

DeLuise moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
DeLuise throws a push kick but Rock slaps the foot to one side.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rock checks a leg kick.
DeLuise tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rock paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lance Rock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lance Rock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rock avoids a punch combination nicely.
DeLuise does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
DeLuise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

I would just about give that final round to Lance Rock.
I've got Rock winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
