3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stefan Burczymucha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joko Diaz! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burczymucha throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Burczymucha. Burczymucha throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz counters by clinching up. Burczymucha is trying to break free. Burczymucha is fighting off a takedown attempt but Diaz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Burczymucha to the mat. Burczymucha regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Diaz controlling from the top position. Diaz landing with the ground and pound. Diaz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Burczymucha can't keep his opponent in guard - Diaz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diaz drops an elbow to the side of Burczymucha's head. Diaz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Diaz trying to pass the guard but Burczymucha defending well. Burczymucha wants to improve his position but Diaz is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Burczymucha is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Burczymucha wants to get back to his feet.
Burczymucha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joko Diaz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Burczymucha misses with a low kick. Burczymucha pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diaz checks a low kick from Burczymucha. Stefan Burczymucha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burczymucha throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A low kick from Burczymucha is predictable there and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burczymucha looking to control.
Diaz working some strikes from top position. Diaz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Diaz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Diaz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burczymucha moves out of range of the body kick from Diaz.
Danga de danga de dang - Burczymucha scores with a four punch combination! Burczymucha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Burczymucha moves out of range. Diaz blocks a head kick by Burczymucha.
Burczymucha connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Burczymucha looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well. Burczymucha misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz fails in his attempt to clinch. Burczymucha finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Burczymucha feints and then cracks Diaz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Diaz down. Burczymucha throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burczymucha swings widly with a right hand
and Diaz counters with a nice body shot. Burczymucha dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diaz. That did some damage! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burczymucha misses with a leg kick and Diaz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burczymucha's guard. Burczymucha wants to stand and escape but Diaz is having none of it. Burczymucha is looking to sweep but instead, Diaz has passed into half guard.
Diaz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Diaz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Burczymucha! Diaz looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diaz dominating with strikes here. Diaz with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joko Diaz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Burczymucha misses with a leg kick and Diaz counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Burczymucha to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Diaz!
