Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bariga Cocainich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorpe comes to the cage accompanied by Limelight by Rush. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cocainich's choice of entrance music: Будущее 9эт . On his way into the cage it seems that Scott Thorpe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Scott Thorpe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Thorpe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bariga Cocainich! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorpe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cocainich closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thorpe did well to prevent Cocainich getting side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cocainich tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thorpe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Thorpe pushes Cocainich off looking to stand but Cocainich dives back in and keeps control.
Cocainich wants to pass the guard but Thorpe is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thorpe is not content to let Cocainich control the position. Cocainich trying to mount his opponent but Thorpe defends it. Cocainich missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cocainich throwing shots but Thorpe is blocking nicely. Cocainich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thorpe keeps working. Thorpe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cocainich on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thorpe wants to get back to his feet.
Thorpe is defending against the submission attempts here by Cocainich.
Cocainich seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cocainich not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cocainich is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thorpe is just riding it out for now. Cocainich eventually gives up the hold. Cocainich not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cocainich wants to free his trapped foot but Thorpe is holding on for dear life with his legs. Thorpe is in trouble now - Cocainich has advanced to mount! Cocainich landing strikes from the mount and Thorpe is in trouble!
It looks like Scott Thorpe has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thorpe is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Cocainich lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thorpe hang on?
Scott Thorpe's cut is getting worse. Cocainich throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Cocainich postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Thorpe looks a forlorn figure.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Scott Thorpe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
