Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elias Elmsgaard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Hawk! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elmsgaard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Elmsgaard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hawk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Elmsgaard is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hawk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hawk is looking for a sweep. Elmsgaard decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hawk to his feet. Elmsgaard looking to score a takedown here. Hawk is defending well but Elmsgaard drives through and ends up in Hawk's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Elmsgaard trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Elmsgaard controlling from the top position. Elmsgaard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hawk is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elmsgaard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hawk's guard. Elmsgaard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Elmsgaard trying to pass the guard but Hawk defending well. Elmsgaard performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elmsgaard wants to take a breather but Hawk is having none of it. Elmsgaard trying to control the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Elias Elmsgaard wasn't doing enough on the ground. Elmsgaard tries to clinch but Hawk moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elmsgaard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hawk.
Hawk takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Elmsgaard scores with a leg kick.

Hawk is rocked! Elmsgaard is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Hawk is in big trouble! Elmsgaard is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Hawk. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Elias Elmsgaard!
