The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from TacoTaco.
Karataco TacoTaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by TacoTaco or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez which made him look bad.
TacoTaco swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sanchez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sanchez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. TacoTaco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
TacoTaco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carmelo Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karataco TacoTaco.
Sanchez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as TacoTaco crumples to the floor! Sanchez milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
