Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Coolidge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Coolidge quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Doe prevents Coolidge from improving his position.

Doe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Coolidge tries to roll over but Doe keeps him under control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Doe not doing much here.
Doe works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Doe jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Coolidge manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Coolidge on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Coolidge tries to get out of the position.

Doe has hold of Coolidge's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Coolidge seems comfortable defending it but Doe has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Coolidge is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Coolidge is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Doe couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John Doe!
A very excited looking John Doe rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
