The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Szczecinski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Who's going to make the next move?
Mehoff prevents Szczecinski from moving into mount.
Mehoff manages to work his way to half guard, despite Szczecinski's best efforts.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mehoff has clasped his hands together around Szczecinski's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Szczecinski wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Mehoff seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Szczecinski is tapping! Wow, great finish!
