Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between White Oxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, White Oxe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kent Steiner! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steiner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Oxe can't do much from the bottom here. The referee asks Steiner politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Steiner prefers to stall for the moment though. Oxe is trying to improve his position. Oxe is trying to control Steiner's posture but Steiner avoids it. Oxe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Oxe wants to control but Steiner postures up. Steiner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Oxe is trying to control Steiner's posture but Steiner avoids it. Steiner misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steiner looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Oxe is avoiding damage well.
Oxe is being controlled here. Steiner landing strikes. Steiner looks up at the clock and then as Oxe takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Steiner smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Steiner working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Oxe gets back to half guard. Steiner controlling the pace. Oxe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Let's hope that Steiner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Steiner is thwarting Oxe's attempts to control the position. Steiner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oxe wants to get back to his feet.
Steiner is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steiner is taking a breather. Oxe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oxe wants to improve his position but Steiner is controlling well.
Steiner controlling the action here. Oxe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steiner scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Steiner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Oxe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oxe won't let Steiner get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Oxe lands a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oxe looking to secure an arm triangle but Steiner defends it well. Steiner really wants to buck Oxe off and get back to his feet. Oxe throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Steiner because Oxe loaded up on that one. Oxe has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Steiner is forced to tap!
