Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Glasgow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glasgow's entrance music is Sail by Armin van Buuren. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu dodges the punch combination from Glasgow.
Yu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yu blocks a leg kick.
Glasgow thuds a left hand into Yu's body.
Glasgow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yu keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Yu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Glasgow.

Glasgow closes the distance and clinches up with Yu, looking for a takedown. Glasgow pushes Yu against the cage but Yu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Glasgow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yu as he jumps to the side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glasgow's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Glasgow scrambles back to his feet.

Yu's corner calls for a 1-2. Yu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Glasgow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yu defends it easily.
Yu is looking to work some ground and pound but Glasgow has wrist control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tom Glasgow.
I think Glasgow has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
