Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lyiod Dannes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dannes shoots in and drives through. Garcia sprawls well.
Garcia on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dannes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Garcia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Garcia is looking to take a break and control but Dannes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dannes pushes Garcia off and gets back to his feet.
Dannes jabs at Garcia's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Garcia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dannes moves away.

Dannes tries to keep at a distance but Garcia has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dannes is trying to drag Garcia to the mat but Garcia just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Garcia drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dannes gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dannes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Garcia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dannes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dannes is breathing heavily.
Garcia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dannes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garcia somewhat.

Garcia wants to control from the top but Dannes keeps moving.
Dannes wants to stand up but Garcia is controlling him.
Dannes has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Garcia has passed into side control.
Dannes tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Garcia easily slips into full mount!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Garcia moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dannes tries a head kick but it misses.
Dannes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dannes off to one side.
Dannes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Garcia circles away.
Lyiod Dannes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dannes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Garcia as he jumps to the side.

Dannes shoots in looking for a takedown but Garcia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dannes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Garcia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dannes's guard.

Dannes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dannes has his foot on Garcia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garcia works his way back into a safe position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Garcia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dannes to the mat! Dannes manages to get full guard.
Dannes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garcia is one step ahead there.
Garcia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dannes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dannes wants to hit a switch here but Garcia passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dannes there!
Dannes tries to lock up and control but Garcia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Garcia wants to control the pace but Dannes is squirming around nicely.
Dannes tries to reverse the position but Garcia maintains control.
Garcia thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia lands a nice shot to the head.
Dannes tries to hold on but Garcia pushes him away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dannes is squirming around, avoiding Garcia's attempts to control the action.
Dannes is working to get back to half guard.
Dannes is in a horrible position here. Garcia smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dannes is wriggling around trying to escape.

Garcia goes for an armbar but Dannes turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dannes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dannes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dannes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garcia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dannes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Garcia trying to keep a closed guard but Dannes is proving a slippery customer.
Garcia is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

and Garcia counters with a series of strikes. Dannes will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dannes jabs Garcia right on the nose. Garcia blinks but takes it well.
Dannes lands a glancing blow to the side of Garcia's head.

Dannes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Well Garcia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
