The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Gai's head.
Gai is looking to slow Jones down with leg kicks.
Jones sends Gai crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jones is motioning to the referee to let Gai up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Sum Yung Gai has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones cracks Gai on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gai falls backwards against the cage. Jones follows up with more strikes that drop Gai to his knees. Jones keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gai! This one is all over!
