The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Evans circles away.
Evans takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Evans lands a head shot.
Evans throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Evans throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Evans takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Evans jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Evans wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Evans.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Evans paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rashad Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice combo by Lee! Oh, that's hurt him - Evans falls to the canvas and Lee follows him into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Evans rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lee's guard! Nice work there by Evans!

Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Evans takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lee cracks Evans with a hook to the temple - Evans is on wobbly legs here! Lee swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Evans falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lee wins by TKO!
