The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kingman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Kingman's legs - danger averted.

Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kingman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kingman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kingman!

Kingman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Brown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brown lands in his opponent's guard.

Brown has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kingman regains guard immediately.
Kingman wants to stand and escape but Brown is having none of it.
