Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johny Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pluribus Unum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pluribus Unum!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Unum scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Walker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Unum thows a huge punch but Walker dodges it nicely.
Walker is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker kicks Unum off and gets back to his feet.
Walker shoots in but Unum avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Unum fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Walker, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It looks like Johny Walker has been cut.
Unum wants to take the fight to the mat but Walker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Unum can't find room to land a body shot as Walker controls the action.
Walker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Unum with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Walker is breathing heavily.

Unum has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Unum keeps control of Walker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Unum just misses with a elbow thrown towards Walker's brow.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Walker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Walker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We're going to have a standup here because Johny Walker wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Walker stuns Unum with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Walker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Unum wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Unum staying busy and making it hard for Walker to control.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Walker is persistently looking for the submission but Unum is defending it well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Unum is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Unum pinned against the cage. Unum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Walker tries for a takedown but Unum sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Unum wants to clinch.
Johny Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walker is pressed up against the cage. Unum has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Walker down to the mat. Walker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown. Unum tries to sprawl out of it but Walker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Unum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker has a takedown stuffed.
Walker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Unum moves into range and clinches up with Walker.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head punch on the inside from Unum fails to land.
Unum tries for a takedown but Walker manages to get underhooks.
Walker is leaning against Unum and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Unum throws a knee to the head but misses.
Walker is trying to break the clinch but Unum has him pressed against the cage.
Walker is trying to break the clinch but Unum is controlling him.
Unum trying to control the position but instead, Walker has worked for underhooks and has pushed Unum into the cage.

Walker jumps into guard, dragging Unum to the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Walker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Unum stays in close to Walker's body and controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Pluribus Unum.
I think Unum has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
