Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chief Tango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chief Tango is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tango as he avoids it easily. Chan fails with a takedown attempt. Chan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacky Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chan throws an overhand right that lands on Tango's shoulder, as Tango tries to avoid the shot. Chan tries to keep at a distance but Tango has taken the fight into the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Chan is trying to trip Tango. He has hold of a leg but Tango is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chan persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Tango is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Chan tries to free his leg and advance position but Tango is retaining full guard. Tango thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan with a flurry of punches that miss. Chan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tango works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Chan looking to sit in guard and control but Tango gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Chan keeping moving, preventing Tango from controlling successfully. Tango sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chan's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tango is trying to control the action in half guard but Chan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chan keeping control of the position. Chan tries to roll over but Tango keeps him under control. Chan trying to control here.
Chan is not content to let Tango control the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chief Tango wasn't active enough on the ground. Tango looking to score a takedown here. Chan is defending well but Tango drives through and ends up in Chan's guard. Chan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tango gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tango defends well. Chan is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tango would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tango missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chan looking to control but Tango passes into half guard.
Chan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tango pulls his head out easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chan actively working from the bottom here. Tango is trying to control the action in half guard but Chan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacky Chan will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chan enables Tango to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Chan is looking for a triangle but Tango pushes his legs off easily.
Tango wants to get up but he can't break Chan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Chan has his foot on Tango's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tango works his way back into a safe position though. Tango being controlled here momentarily. Tango is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chan wants to control the position but Tango says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tango trying to mount his opponent but Chan defends it. Chan is not content to let Tango control the position. Chan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tango pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tango working the head and body with strikes. Chan wants to control but Tango is keeping busy.
Tango tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tango tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Chan is trying to stand back up but Tango is controlling him
Tango looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Chan is looking for a sweep. Tango is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chief Tango has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan wants to get back to his feet.
Chan is trying to maintain the position but Tango is very close to passing his half guard. Tango seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chan is trying to stand back up but Tango is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chan fails with a takedown attempt. Chan fails to land the takedown. Tango tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tango scores with a takedown into Chan's guard. Tango throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tango is looking to stand up but Chan won't let him. Tango trying to control the position from guard on top but Chan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chief Tango showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tango doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tango manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chan is looking to stand up but Tango isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tango forces his way into half guard. Tango trying to mount his opponent but Chan defends it. Chan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chan tries to get out of the position. Chan is refusing to be controlled, as Tango sits in half guard. Chan is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan actively working from the bottom here. Tango works his way into side control. Tango in side control, throwing shots but Chan defends. Chan is looking to reverse the position. Tango wants to control but Chan is keeping him busy. Chan is letting Tango control him for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tango trying to control the position but Chan is working away. Tango decides to stand up, so the ref orders Chan to his feet. Chan tries to keep at a distance but Tango has taken the fight into the clinch. Tango gets control of Chan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tango will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tango working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chan. Tango is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tango has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chan has managed to get both his arms back between Tango's legs - danger averted. Chan wants to control from the top but Tango keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! Chief Tango comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tango has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
