PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pixar Bonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bonan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites. Adam Falcon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pixar Bonan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Falcon!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonan gets a double leg takedown into Falcon's guard.
Falcon looking to control.
Bonan preventing the sweep.
Falcon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Falcon trying to control the position.
Falcon keeping moving, preventing Bonan from controlling successfully.
Falcon has Bonan pulled in close to control his posture.

Adam Falcon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Falcon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
No joy there for Bonan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bonan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Falcon sprawls well initially but Bonan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bonan is trying to control the action in half guard but Falcon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bonan is looking to advance position but Falcon won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Falcon is staying active underneath Bonan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pixar Bonan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Sloppy strikes from Bonan. Those never looked like landing.
Bonan throws a poor cross that misses
and Falcon counters with a one-two to the body.

Bonan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Falcon working hard to break the clinch.

Bonan breaks the clinch.
Bonan thows a body shot but no joy.

Bonan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Falcon's guard.
Bonan throws an elbow that misses. Falcon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bonan's guard. Nice move by Falcon!

Bonan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Falcon should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bonan has tightened it up now! Falcon should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
