The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Manuel. No joy for Hede Hede on that attempt.
Manuel throws a low kick, looking for Hede Hede's leg but Hede Hede calmly moves out of range.
Hede Hede looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Manuel.
Manuel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hede Hede manages to avoid it.
Manuel scores with a one two! Hede Hede had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Haydar Hede Hede has been cut.
Manuel misses with a takedown attempt
and Hede Hede counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Manuel's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manuel wants to sweep but no luck.

Hede Hede seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Manuel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Manuel is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Hede Hede has taken his back.

Hede Hede has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Manuel's body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's time! Manuel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Manuel stuffs the takedown.
Manuel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hede Hede gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hede Hede prevents Manuel from breaking the clinch.
Manuel is pressed up against the cage. Hede Hede has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Manuel down to the mat. Manuel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Manuel.
Manuel throws a one two combo.
Hede Hede shoots in but no luck this time.
Melvin Manuel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haydar Hede Hede.
Manuel throws a head kick but Hede Hede moves out of range.
Manuel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A head kick by Manuel misses
and Hede Hede counters by moving into the clinch.
Manuel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Manuel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hede Hede misses with a takedown attempt - Manuel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Manuel throws a body punch but Hede Hede moves out of range.
Hede Hede tries for a takedown but Manuel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hede Hede displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Manuel throws out the jab.
Hede Hede stuffs the takedown attempt from Manuel. Manuel gets slowly back to his feet.
Hede Hede changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manuel tries to avoid it but Hede Hede manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manuel to the ground. Manuel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Hede Hede counters with a shoot takedown. Manuel fights it but they end up in guard.

Hede Hede wants to pass the guard but Manuel is keeping the position.
