Khan takes one on the button.
Nice shot lands for Silva.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.
Silva works the jab nicely.
Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces Khan off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Chagatai Khan has been cut.
Silva digs a good hook to Khan's body.
Khan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good standup being displayed there by Silva as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but Khan slips the punch.
Thiago Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khan moves away.
Silva misses with a hook. Khan ducked under it nicely.

Silva connects with a body shot.
Khan takes one to the side of the head.
Silva lands with a shot to the body.
Silva throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Khan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Silva throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease.
Khan takes one to the chin there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Silva scores with a jab.
Silva lands with a nice body punch.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but Khan slips the punch.
A shot to the liver by Silva. Beautiful body shot.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Khan moved out of range.
Silva throws out a powerful jab.
Khan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Khan is rocked!
Khan gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Khan tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Silva is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Khan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Khan!! Khan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Silva throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Silva!
