Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayle Amot Abdalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying James's choice of entrance music: Biscuits & Gravy. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bubba James enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Abdalla works his way to full guard. Good work.

James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Abdalla is trying to control the position but James postures up.

James throws an elbow that misses. Abdalla uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in James's guard. Nice move by Abdalla!
Abdalla won't allow James to get back to his feet.

James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abdalla. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
James wants to stand up but Abdalla is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rayle Amot Abdalla has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
James slips under a jab.
Abdalla shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side.
James gets a takedown into half guard.

James stalling away here and it's allowed Abdalla to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

James looking to improve position, pressing down on Abdalla's thigh with his hand. Abdalla seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is James paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! James's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Abdalla picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
