Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 6 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tim Davidson !
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pain shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davidson 's guard.
Pain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davidson is keeping the position for now.
Pain is working Davidson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Pain throwing strikes from guard but Davidson blocks nicely.
Pain slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because John Pain just wasn't active enough.
Pain shoots for a double leg takedown but Davidson sprawls well. He's pushed Pain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davidson pinned against the cage. Davidson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pain working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Pain stalling away here and it's allowed Davidson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Davidson is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Davidson !
