Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salcedo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sail-Awolnation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salcedo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Salcedo as he connects with a hook.
Nelson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Salcedo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Oscar Salcedo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nelson ducks under a wild hook from Salcedo.
Salcedo moves out of range of the body kick.
Nelson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Salcedo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nelson scrambles back to his feet.
Salcedo misses with a hook to the body
and Nelson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Salcedo really felt that one!
A lazy left from Salcedo finds it's target.
Salcedo clobbers Nelson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Salcedo tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nelson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Nelson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Salcedo is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Nelson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Nelson!! Nelson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Salcedo throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Salcedo!
Oscar Salcedo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
