Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ushenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ushenin has chosen The Godfather as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem cracks the inside of Ushenin's front leg.
Overeem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Overeem takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Titus Overeem has been cut.

Ushenin moves into range and clinches up with Overeem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Overeem is trying to push Ushenin away but Ushenin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Overeem gets tackled into the cage by Ushenin. Ushenin maintains the clinch.
Overeem is trying to break the clinch but Ushenin is controlling him.

Overeem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ushenin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Overeem swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ushenin takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Overeem throws a right hand that Ushenin ducks under and follows up with a left that Ushenin also avoids with ease.
Ushenin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Overeem walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ushenin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ushenin is looking to clinch but Overeem is avoiding it.
Overeem looks to land a combination but Ushenin avoids it well.
Overeem tries a low kick but Ushenin avoids it.
Overeem buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Overeem lands an overhand right.

Ushenin drives through and clinches with Overeem against the cage.

Overeem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Overeem lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ushenin at a distance.
Overeem throws a low kick but Ushenin moves out of range easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Overeem moves out of range as Ushenin throws a body kick.
Ushenin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Overeem's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Overeem avoids the head kick by Ushenin.
Ushenin wants to clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Overeem.
Ushenin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Overeem delivers a nice body kick.
Overeem looks to land a left hand but Ushenin moved out of range nicely.
Ushenin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Overeem manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Overeem avoids the head kick by Ushenin.

Overeem dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ushenin looks winded!
Ushenin moves in looking to clinch but Overeem pushes him off.
A decent looking cross lands there for Overeem.
Good standup being displayed there by Overeem as he connects with a hook.
Overeem will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ushenin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Overeem to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Overeem cracks Ushenin with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Overeem has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ushenin to stand back up!

It looks like Alex Ushenin has been cut.
A head kick by Overeem - that's a beauty! Ushenin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Overeem can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

After winning the bout, Titus Overeem thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
