Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brock Catherins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Kakarotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brock Catherins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dylan Kakarotto!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakarotto closes the distance looking to clinch
and Catherins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kakarotto won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kakarotto wants to get back to his feet.
Catherins landing a few strikes.

Catherins decides to stand back up. Catherins steps back and let's Kakarotto get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kakarotto throws a nice looking combination but Catherins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Catherins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kakarotto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Catherins decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kakarotto to his feet.
Kakarotto shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Catherins eats them both and turns towards Kakarotto to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Catherins ducks right into an uppercut from Kakarotto.
Kakarotto throws a head kick that misses
and Catherins counters with a crisp one two that drops Kakarotto! Catherins thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kakarotto to his feet! Kakarotto is in big trouble!
Kakarotto is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Catherins closes the distance looking for a takedown. Kakarotto stuffs it but Catherins still has hold of him. Catherins picks Kakarotto up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Catherins slams Kakarotto to the floor and that's really hurt Kakarotto - he doesn't know where he is! Catherins throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brock Catherins!
Brock Catherins took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'May God Bless These nu*s'.
