Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Szakul Ingwar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Preston Miller!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller keeps the fight on the outside.
Miller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ingwar.
Ingwar tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Miller. Those never looked like landing.

Ingwar has closed the distance and engaged Miller in a clinch.
Miller tries to pull guard but Ingwar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Miller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ingwar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Miller wants to take the fight to the mat but Ingwar manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Szakul Ingwar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Preston Miller.

Ingwar lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Miller wants to get back to full guard but Ingwar has mounted him!
You get the feeling that Miller really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Miller regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ingwar stands up and beckons Miller to join him on the feet.

Miller moves into the clinch.
Ingwar tries to land knees in the clinch but Miller avoids the damage to the body.
Ingwar throws a knee to the head but misses.
Miller looking for a takedown.
A bit of stalling here from Ingwar.
Miller jumps guard but Ingwar turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Miller tries to pull guard but Ingwar holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.
Miller swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Ingwar pulls Miller into guard.
Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Ingwar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller scoring with punches to the head and body.
Miller lands a couple of elbows.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ingwar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there.

Miller is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ingwar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ingwar has escaped and now he's on top!
Ingwar trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Miller striking off his back but it's not causing Ingwar any problems.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Miller looking to control.
Ingwar looking to pass the guard.
Miller tries to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller keeping full guard, as Ingwar tries to pass.
Miller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ingwar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Miller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ingwar defends it easily.

Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller striking off his back but it's not causing Ingwar any problems.
Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Miller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ingwar wants to control but Miller is having none of it.
BOOM! Miller connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miller lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ingwar hang on?

It looks like Szakul Ingwar has been cut.
Miller postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Ingwar bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Miller and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Preston Miller!
Preston Miller gave a mention to Pinoy Fightwear (90% Laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
