Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel McDermott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fu Queue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel McDermott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fu Queue!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queue falls off balance throwing a combination

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Queue has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McDermott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McDermott's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

McDermott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Queue can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
McDermott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McDermott seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Queue for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
