Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Beezy!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beezy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woods to the mat! Woods manages to get full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Beezy is looking to stand up but Woods won't let him.
Beezy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Beezy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

It looks like Beezy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Beezy was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Woods goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Beezy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Woods's waist but Woods gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beezy off to one side.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joe Beezy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Beezy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beezy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beezy is staying tight to Woods's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Beezy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Woods as he jumps to the side.

Beezy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

and Beezy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fight stays on the outside here - Beezy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beezy drives through with a takedown into Woods's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Beezy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woods swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joe Beezy.
Beezy throws the kick towards the body but Woods avoids it.
Beezy moves in looking to clinch but Woods pushes him off.

Beezy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Woods napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Beezy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Beezy cracks Woods with a big elbow.

Joe Beezy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Woods displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beezy throws out the jab.

Woods is rocked!
Beezy lands a strong strike to the head of Woods. That's dazed him! Beezy looking to finish here. Woods is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Beezy lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
