Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roque Barretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randolph Turpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barretto's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Last Man Standing - By 4ft Fingers. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randolph Turpin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barretto throws a sloppy head kick
and Turpin counters with a straight right hand.
Turpin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barretto was well out of range. Poor timing from Turpin.
Barretto throws a solid leg kick but Turpin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Barretto.
Barretto looks to land a right hand but Turpin moved out of range.
Barretto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Roque Barretto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barretto throws a leg kick but Turpin sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A head kick misses from Barretto.
A bone on bone clash there as Turpin blocks the leg kick.
Barretto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Barretto slips a straight right by Turpin.
Barretto misses the shot to the body.
Turpin lands with an uppercut that bounces Barretto off the cage and back into range.
Turpin takes one to the chin there.
Turpin tries a head kick but it misses.
Barretto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Turpin to score with a decent uppercut.
Barretto scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Barretto lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Turpin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barretto on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A jab lands there for Barretto.
Turpin tries a head kick but it misses.
Barretto shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Turpin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barretto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Turpin takes a swing at Barretto's ribcage but misses.
Turpin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barretto throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Turpin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barretto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turpin finds it's way round the side to connect with Barretto's head.
Barretto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Turpin as he jumps to the side.

Barretto lands with a thumping leg kick.
Barretto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barretto is looking to clinch but Turpin is avoiding it.
Turpin looks to land a left hand but Barretto moved out of range nicely.
Turpin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barretto moves away.
Barretto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Turpin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Barretto closes the distance but Turpin moves to the side
and Turpin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Turpin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barretto can pounce on him.
Turpin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barretto.
Turpin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Turpin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Turpin jabs at Barretto's body.
Barretto lands a nice leg kick that just misses Turpin's sensitive parts.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turpin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barretto on the side of the head.

Barretto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Turpin throws a chopping leg kick but Barretto manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Turpin connects with a body shot that sends Barretto's belly button to the back.
Turpin moves out of range of the strikes.
Barretto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turpin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roque Barretto will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A looping hook to the body misses from Turpin. Barretto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barretto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turpin.

and Turpin counters with a nice body shot.

Turpin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barretto tries to clinch up.
Turpin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Barretto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Barretto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Turpin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barretto, as that shot connected.

Barretto is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turpin.
Turpin is still on wobbly legs! Can Barretto finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barretto closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Turpin! Barretto dives in looking to finish! Turpin is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Roque Barretto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
