The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels misses with a wild body shot.
Garrick dodges the punch combination from McDaniels.
McDaniels pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Garrick shoots in for a takedown but McDaniels shows good takedown defense.
McDaniels looks to land a combination but Garrick avoids it well.
Garrick drops his hands momentarily and McDaniels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McDaniels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garrick moves away.
McDaniels with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Garrick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McDaniels avoids it really well and circles away.
Garrick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McDaniels swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Garrick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Garrick moves out of range of the strikes.
McDaniels lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McDaniels.

Oh Garrick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
