Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jake Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nicholls shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nicholls showed some decent athleticism there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Nicholls is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nicholls.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nicholls looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Nicholls is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Miller is hurt! He's hurt bad - Nicholls fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Miller from any more punishment! Congratulations to Nicholls! Great finish!
