And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bolo Nimjang!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimjang throws out a leg kick but Heartman moves out of range and Nimjang only half commits.
Nimjang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Heartman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nimjang misses with a low kick.
Bolo Nimjang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heartman stuffs the takedown attempt from Nimjang. Nimjang gets slowly back to his feet.
Heartman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nimjang gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Nimjang slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Heartman passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Heartman in particular looking to stall.

Heartman tries for a kimura but Nimjang is defending well.
Heartman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nimjang rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Heartman's guard! Nice work there by Nimjang!
Nimjang pushes down on Heartman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nimjang passes to full mount!
Heartman flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Heartman is trying desperately to improve position.
BOOM! Nimjang connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Nimjang manages to capitalize on a mistake by Heartman to take his back!
Heartman is breathing heavily.
Heartman can't escape the position.
Heartman is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nimjang gets his way!
Nimjang is looking to control Heartman but Heartman is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Nimjang is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Heartman up.
Nimjang is working for a rear naked choke. Heartman is not defending it well and Nimjang has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Heartman refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Heartman's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
