Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ice Cold. Chuck Liddell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orochi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Liddell throws a predictable looking body shot
and Orochi counters with a low kick, right behind Liddell 's knee. Liddell lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A decent looking cross lands there for Orochi. Liddell is looking to slow Orochi down with leg kicks. Orochi moves out of range of the body kick. Orochi throws a low kick, looking for Liddell's leg but Liddell calmly moves out of range. Orochi throws a front kick aimed at Liddell's knee but Liddell avoids it well. Orochi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liddell pivots, looking for a leg kick but Orochi is out of range and Liddell settles back down. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Liddell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Liddell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Orochi throws a body kick that misses. Liddell throws a sloppy head kick and Orochi moves out of range easily. Orochi moves out of range of the leg kick from Liddell. Orochi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice leg kick lands there from Orochi. Liddell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orochi moves away. Orochi is looking to chop away at Liddell's legs. Liddell moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Orochi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Liddell thumps Orochi with a low kick. Liddell throws a nice looking combination but Orochi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Orochi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Orochi misses with an attempted mid kick.

Orochi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Orochi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Liddell was well out of range. Poor timing from Orochi. Orochi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Liddell rather than just go for the knockout. Liddell takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Doppo Orochi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Chuck Liddell's cut. That's time! Liddell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Liddell is rocked! Orochi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Orochi connects with a leg kick. Liddell looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Oh Liddell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Orochi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liddell circles away quickly and effectively. Orochi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Liddell seems to have got his legs back now. Orochi lets loose with a powerful body kick. Liddell will feel that in the morning. Liddell misses with a hook. Orochi ducked under it nicely.
