The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Copout lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like James Miller has been cut.

Copout lands a nice looking body shot.

and Copout counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

James Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Copout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miller manages to avoid it.
Copout comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Copout counters with a stiff right hand.

Miller tries to keep at a distance but Copout has taken the fight into the clinch.
Copout lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Miller is looking to take this one to the mat.

Copout manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Copout tries to throw a body punch but Miller avoids it by throwing Copout back against the cage.
Miller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Copout pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Copout works on Miller's body with a couple of short punches.
Copout has Miller pressed against the cage.
Miller is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Copout is defending well.
Miller's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Copout connects with a big uppercut there that sends Miller tumbling to the ground! Copout follows him down into his guard.


Miller is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Copout arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Miller's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cro Copout!
Cro Copout was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
