Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Carneiro!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korkkanen is looking to clinch.
Carneiro shoots in for a takedown but Korkkanen shows good takedown defense.
Carneiro moves in looking to clinch but Korkkanen pushes him off.
Korkkanen cracks Carneiro with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Daniel Carneiro has been cut.
Korkkanen lands with a cross.
No luck for Carneiro with that takedown attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carneiro fails to land the takedown.
Tero Korkkanen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Carneiro.
Carneiro shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Korkkanen tries to kick Carneiro off but Carneiro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Carneiro is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carneiro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Korkkanen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carneiro.
Korkkanen wants to control but Carneiro is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Korkkanen won't allow Carneiro to pass to mount.
Korkkanen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carneiro on the ground.
Korkkanen is concentrating on defense, preventing Carneiro from advancing position.
Korkkanen is looking to improve his position.
Carneiro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Korkkanen lands a really nice looking cross but Carneiro seems unphased.

Korkkanen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carneiro, pushing him back against the cage.
Carneiro tries to land knees in the clinch but Korkkanen avoids the damage to the body.
Korkkanen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carneiro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Carneiro letting Korkkanen take a breather here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Korkkanen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Korkkanen clinches.
Korkkanen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Korkkanen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Korkkanen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Carneiro as Korkkanen tries to tie him up.

Korkkanen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Carneiro looking to slow down the pace here.
Korkkanen is trying to force a seperation but Carneiro has the dominant position.
Korkkanen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Korkkanen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carneiro wants to clinch up but Korkkanen keeps it at a distance.
Carneiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Korkkanen but Korkkanen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Korkkanen throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Carneiro colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Korkkanen as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Carneiro is left battered and dazed whilst Korkkanen and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tero Korkkanen!
