Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between JB Brubaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wei Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brubaker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is August Burns Red - Poor Millionaire. Wei Sun is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JB Brubaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wei Sun! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Sun. Brubaker does a little dance to reset his feet. Sun has Brubaker up against the cage in a clinch.
Sun creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Sun is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Brubaker tries to score a body lock takedown but Sun shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sun throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brubaker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sun keeps control of Brubaker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sun throws an elbow but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brubaker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sun gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brubaker has had enough of the clinch but Sun keeps him there for the moment. Brubaker blocks an elbow strike. Brubaker tries to score a body lock takedown but Sun shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JB Brubaker. That's going to take a lot out of him. A nice glancing elbow lands by Sun. Sun is trying to stall.
Sun lands a good knee to the midsection. Brubaker won't want to take too many of those. Sun pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Sun content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brubaker throws an elbow that misses. Sun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brubaker's guard. Nice move by Sun! Sun wants to control from the top but Brubaker keeps moving. Brubaker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brubaker wants to sweep here but Sun controlling him for the moment. Sun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brubaker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sun has managed to get both his arms back between Brubaker's legs - danger averted. Sun stopping the sweep attempt from Brubaker. Sun looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brubaker throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Brubaker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sun is one step ahead there. Brubaker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sun wants to stand but Brubaker is controlling his posture from full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brubaker wants to sweep here but Sun controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that JB Brubaker will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sun thuds his right hand into Brubaker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Brubaker misses with a two punch combination.

Brubaker connects with a solid leg kick. Brubaker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Brubaker looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sun avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Sun looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brubaker throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wei Sun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Sun. No joy for Brubaker on that attempt. Sun tries to clinch but Brubaker is having none of it. Sun closes the distance and clinches. Sun lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JB Brubaker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brubaker cracks Sun with a nice body shot. Brubaker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sun trying to control the position but instead, Brubaker has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sun into the cage. Brubaker is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Sun lands a nice elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Brubaker scores with a nice short uppercut. Sun lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Sun gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Brubaker working hard to break the clinch. Sun controlling the action here for a moment.
Brubaker is trying to trip Sun. He has hold of a leg but Sun is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Brubaker persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brubaker is stalling in the full guard. Sun keeping moving, preventing Brubaker from controlling successfully. Sun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brubaker wants to control from the top but Sun keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. JB Brubaker wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sun throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brubaker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sun is looking to clinch but Brubaker is avoiding it.
Sun takes the fight into the clinch. Sun throws an elbow but it misses.
Brubaker wants to get back to striking at distance but Sun won't allow it.
Sun crunches a lovely knee into Brubaker's ribcage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brubaker takes an elbow to the temple. Sun misses with a punch to the body.
Sun is looking to control Brubaker's arms but Brubaker gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sun has his back to the cage. Brubaker managing to block the knees to the body from Sun.
Brubaker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sun is defending well for now. Sun lands an elbow that stopped Brubaker in his tracks for a moment. Sun is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Sun has a couple of punches blocked by Brubaker.
A short uppercut from Brubaker. Brubaker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sun backwards. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sun lands a knee to the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that JB Brubaker will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sun stuffs the takedown. Sun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brubaker throws out the jab. Brubaker cracks Sun with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Brubaker connects with a right hand. Sun shakes it off. Brubaker connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Sun has Brubaker up against the cage in a clinch.
Brubaker avoids a wild elbow strike from Sun. Brubaker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sun lands an elbow that stopped Brubaker in his tracks for a moment. Sun creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brubaker's defenses. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Sun effectively controlling the action here.

Sun lands an elbow inside. Brubaker lands with a light punch inside. Sun lands a nice uppercut. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sun. Brubaker breaks the clinch.
Sun closes the distance but Brubaker moves to the side and Brubaker counters with a takedown into side control. Brubaker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sun is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sun managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brubaker.

Brubaker lands an elbow. Brubaker works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Brubaker working the head with strikes. Sun tries to bench press Brubaker off him but Brubaker keeps the position. Brubaker controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sun dodges the ground and pound from Brubaker. Sun defending against the ground and pound. Brubaker cracks Sun with a big elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brubaker in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. An elbow from Brubaker crashes against the mat.
Brubaker cracks Sun with a big right hand but Sun just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sun managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brubaker.
Brubaker tries to move into full mount but can't pass Sun's legs. Brubaker lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
And that's the end of the fight! JB Brubaker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brubaker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
