Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX - Who We Be. Kasumi has chosen Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness as his entrance music. Kenshiro Kasumi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simmons gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Kasumi tries to keep at a distance but Simmons has taken the fight into the clinch.

Simmons tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kasumi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kasumi connects with a solid leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kasumi, right into the meat.
Kasumi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Simmons's calf.
Kasumi misses with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kasumi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kasumi avoids the body shot from Simmons.
Simmons throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Simmons moves in looking to clinch but Kasumi pushes him off.

Simmons lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Earl Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kasumi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kasumi misses with a body shot.
Simmons takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kasumi lands a slapping body shot.
Kasumi scores with a nice head shot.
Simmons tries to clinch but Kasumi moves out of range.
Kasumi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kasumi clobbers Simmons with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Simmons tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasumi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Simmons wants to clinch.
Simmons on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kasumi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kasumi throws out a loose jab but Simmons uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kasumi misses the shot to the body.
Simmons pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Simmons takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Simmons misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kasumi.
Kasumi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kasumi swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Simmons counters with a thumping low kick.
Simmons slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kasumi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Simmons.
Simmons wants to clinch but Kasumi slips to the side
and Kasumi counters with a good, hard body kick but Simmons shrugs it off.
Simmons walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kasumi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kasumi jabs Simmons to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kasumi scores with a jab.
Kasumi throws a nice looking combination but Simmons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kasumi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kasumi scores with a nice body kick.

Simmons tries to clinch but Kasumi moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Simmons. Kasumi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Simmons tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
No joy there for Simmons, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kasumi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Simmons is breathing heavily.
Kasumi lands with a nice body kick.
Simmons is looking to wear down Kasumi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kasumi lands a leg kick that knocks Simmons off balance momentarily.
Kasumi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Simmons takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kasumi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kasumi lets loose with a powerful body kick. Simmons will feel that in the morning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kasumi! Simmons is out on his feet! Kasumi rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Simmons is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Simmons is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
