Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Snapple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Benton!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snapple thows a body shot but no joy.
Benton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Benton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snapple moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snapple throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Benton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Benton lands a two punch combo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snapple.
Snapple lands a slapping body shot.
Snapple misses with a jab, cross combination.
Benton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Benton darts in and clinches Snapple up against the cage.
Snapple wants to get back to striking at distance but Benton won't allow it.

Benton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snapple takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Benton avoids the body shot from Snapple.
A telegraphed right hand from Snapple misses the target.
Snapple swings widly with a right hand
and Benton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Benton - just one landing.
A slow jab from Snapple misses its intended target.
Benton plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Snapple throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snapple swings widly with a right hand
and Benton counters with a two punch combo.
Snapple swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Eric Snapple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benton darts in and clinches Snapple up against the cage.
Benton landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Benton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Benton misses with the combination.
Snapple swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Snapple swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Benton counters with a two punch combo.
Benton rushes Snapple with punches - Snapple moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Snapple goes down! Benton follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Benton!
Sam Benton bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
