Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Sachse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sachse throws a right hand that Adams ducks under and follows up with a left that Adams also avoids with ease. Adams is looking to slow Sachse down with leg kicks. Sachse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Adams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Adams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sachse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sachse gets a clinch. Sachse manages to break the clinch.
Sachse shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sachse swats him away and circles back towards the center. Adams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sachse instigates a clinch. Adams fails to pull guard.
Adams is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sachse is defending well for now. Adams tries a body shot but Sachse blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams is trying to pull guard but Sachse turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Thomas Sachse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Adams. Adams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sachse pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sachse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sachse lands with a shot to the body. Adams is looking to clinch but Sachse is avoiding it.
Adams misses with the combination.
Adams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sachse sprawls well. Sachse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adams gets slowly back to his feet. Adams looks winded! Adams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams has Sachse up against the cage in a clinch.
Sachse drags the fight down to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Adams trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sachse manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Sachse decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Adams, up you get! Adams keeps the fight on the outside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adams drives through with a takedown into Sachse's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sachse wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sachse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sachse wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him.
Thomas Sachse has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sachse shoots in and gets a takedown into Adams's guard. Adams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sachse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sachse showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sachse wants to stand but Adams is controlling his posture from full guard. Sachse trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Adams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sachse defends it easily. Adams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Sachse dominated that round. That's time! Sachse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sachse throws a front kick that sends Adams stumbling back into the cage. Sachse shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adams sprawls well. Adams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sachse gets slowly back to his feet. Adams misses with a wild combination.
Sachse moves into the clinch. Sachse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sachse closes the distance and clinches. Adams throws a head punch that misses. Sachse can't break the clinch.
Adams lands a good knee to the midsection. Sachse won't want to take too many of those. Sachse is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Adams is defending well for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams managing to block the knees to the body from Sachse.
Sachse's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sachse gets tackled into the cage by Adams. Adams maintains the clinch. Adams avoiding damage as Sachse throws knees to the body.
Sachse manages to break the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Adams. Those never looked like landing. Adams looks to clinch and Sachse counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Adams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Adams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sachse takes a kick to the side of the head. Adams is breathing heavily. Sachse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adams tries to sprawl but Sachse drives through with a takedown into half guard. Sachse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sachse lands a nice short elbow. Well, if Sachse is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sachse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Adams for as long as he can get away with. Adams is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sachse trying to control from half guard but Adams is working away.
We're going to have a standup here because Thomas Sachse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Adams has a takedown stuffed. Sachse tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it. Sachse tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance. Adams moves to clinch but Sachse breaks away and Sachse counters with a two punch combo. Sachse takes a swing at Adams's ribcage but misses. Adams stuffs the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sachse. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Sachse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sachse swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sachse takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Adams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sachse circles away quickly and effectively. Sachse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adams was well out of range. Poor timing from Sachse. Adams looks to clinch and Adams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Adams moves out of range as Sachse throws a body kick.
Sachse swats away the attempt to clinch by Adams. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Adams swinging wildly here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adams shoots in but no luck this time. Adams with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sachse falls off balance throwing a combination
and Adams counters with a big head kick but Sachse shrugs it off. Adams scores with a nice strike. Adams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Sachse pushes him off. Adams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sachse is looking to stand up but Adams won't let him. Sachse has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams controls Sachse momentarily but Sachse frees himself. Sachse stopping the sweep attempt from Adams. Adams wants to stand up but Sachse is controlling him. Sachse stands up from Adams's guard - Sachse perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sachse shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sachse closes the distance and clinches. Sachse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sachse looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Adams! Adams is looking for a sweep. Sachse staying calm. Sachse working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sachse stands up and we're back to a striking position. Thomas Sachse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sachse moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sachse paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jason Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adams feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sachse's calf. Sachse misses with a wild combination.

Adams wants to clinch up but Sachse keeps it at a distance. Jason Adams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adams takes the fight into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adams wants to get back to striking at distance but Sachse won't allow it.
Thomas Sachse is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Adams misses with a punch to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Sachse. Well Sachse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
