Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Sachse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sachse throws a right hand that Adams ducks under and follows up with a left that Adams also avoids with ease.
Adams is looking to slow Sachse down with leg kicks.
Sachse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Adams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Adams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sachse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Sachse shoots in but Adams avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Sachse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sachse lands a nice short elbow.
Well, if Sachse is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sachse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Adams for as long as he can get away with.
Adams is trying to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Sachse.
Well Sachse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
