Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Chidwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Chidwick! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chidwick throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off. Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Chidwick tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Chidwick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones takes a swing at Chidwick's ribcage but misses. Chidwick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chidwick misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Chidwick shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones is trying to escape the mount.
Jones is squirming around, avoiding Chidwick's attempts to control the action. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Chidwick has a good base and remains in mount. Chidwick wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely. Chidwick is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Chidwick wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is looking for a triangle but Chidwick pushes his legs off easily.

Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones has his foot on Chidwick's thigh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Chidwick with that takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Chidwick shoots in. Jones throws a series of punches but Chidwick avoids them all with ease. A lazy left from Jones finds it's target. Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Chidwick takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jones throws a body punch but Chidwick moves out of range. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chidwick, pushing him back against the cage.

Chidwick wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has his feet on Chidwick's thighs here. He's pushed Chidwick off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Chidwick screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
