The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hur throws a series of punches but Cruz avoids them all with ease.
Hur misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cruz walks into a stiff left hand from Hur.
Joey Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hur lands a lovely overhand right.
Cruz misses with a two punch combination.
Cruz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cruz throws a right and a left that Hur avoids nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Hur as Cruz shoots in.
Hur swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Hur misses its intended target.
Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown. Hur tries to sprawl out of it but Cruz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hur manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cruz rushes Hur and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cruz swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hur lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cruz circles away quickly and effectively.
Hur lands a jab.
Hur keeps the fight on the outside.
Hur fails to land with a series of punches.

Hur misses with a series of wild punches.
Hur circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hur lands with an overhand left.
Cruz is rocked!
Hur lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Cruz falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ben Hur decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
