The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Montferrand takes one on the button.
Butcher moves into the clinch.
Butcher can't break the clinch.
Butcher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Montferrand scores with a punch to the head.
Montferrand throws an overhand right that lands on Butcher's shoulder, as Butcher tries to avoid the shot.
Montferrand slips a jab and a cross from Butcher.

Butcher ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Butcher throws out a loose jab but Montferrand uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bobby Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butcher dips to his left and cracks Montferrand with an uppercut!
Montferrand avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Butcher takes the fight into the clinch.
Montferrand has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Butcher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Butcher tries to break free but Montferrand pushes him back against the cage.

Butcher breaks from the clinch.
Butcher lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Montferrand backs up against the cage.
Montferrand is rocked!
Butcher feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Montferrand crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
