Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Stonmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stonmen has chosen Chelsea Dagger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tor Stonmen! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stonmen circles away quickly and effectively. Stonmen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Shaw misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Shaw swats away the attempt to clinch by Stonmen. Stonmen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shaw moves into range and clinches up with Stonmen. Stonmen pulls guard effortlessly. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Stonmen trying to control the position here. Shaw content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw prevents Stonmen from getting back to his feet. Stonmen is trying to control the position but Shaw postures up.
We're going to have a standup here because Roy Shaw wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Shaw moves into the clinch. Stonmen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shaw's efforts to push away. Shaw pulls guard successfully.
Shaw is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stonmen looking to sit in guard and control but Shaw gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stonmen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stonmen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stonmen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stonmen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stonmen unloads with some shots from mount but Shaw bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stonmen goes for an armbar but Shaw turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Shaw. Shaw seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Shaw is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to pass the guard but Stonmen is keeping the position. Stonmen is trying to keep Shaw in close.
Shaw throws a strike but Stonmen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shaw keeping moving, preventing Stonmen from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roy Shaw will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Shaw is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stonmen shoots in but no luck this time. Shaw darts in trying to clinch and Stonmen counters with a nice kick to the body. Shaw misses with a wild combination.

It looks like Roy Shaw has been cut. Shaw wants to get back to striking at distance but Stonmen won't allow it.
Stonmen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stonmen throws a head punch that misses. Stonmen is trying to break the clinch but Shaw has him pressed against the cage. Stonmen prevents Shaw from breaking the clinch. Stonmen working Shaw over with knees to the body. Stonmen tries to pull guard but Shaw won't allow it.

Roy Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tor Stonmen. Stonmen misses with some punches.

Stonmen has Shaw pressed against the cage, preventing Shaw from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Shaw is pressed up against the cage. Stonmen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shaw down to the mat. Shaw avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shaw scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Stonmen fails to land the takedown. Shaw is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stonmen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shaw is fending him off so far but Stonmen persists. Nope, Shaw circles away and we're back to standing. Shaw throws a push kick but Stonmen slaps the foot to one side. Shaw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stonmen is breathing heavily. Stonmen shoots for a double leg takedown but Shaw sprawls well. He's pushed Stonmen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Shaw throws a head kick that misses. Shaw looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck for Shaw with that takedown attempt. Stonmen shoots in for a takedown but Shaw shows good takedown defense. Shaw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw leaves Stonmen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Stonmen circles away.

Roy Shaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stonmen wants to clinch up but Shaw keeps it at a distance. Stonmen fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stonmen is defended easily by Shaw. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shaw darts in and clinches Stonmen up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stonmen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Stonmen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Stonmen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shaw. Stonmen gets a double leg takedown into Shaw's guard. Stonmen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaw swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shaw throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Shaw looking for a guillotine here but Stonmen defends easily.

Stonmen won't allow Shaw to get back to his feet. Stonmen with a flurry of punches that miss. Stonmen wants to pass the guard but Shaw is keeping the position. Stonmen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stonmen tries to stand but Shaw is controlling from the bottom. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tor Stonmen. Stonmen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stonmen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Stonmen gets tackled into the cage by Shaw. Shaw maintains the clinch. Shaw makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Shaw stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Stonmen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw tries to circle away but Stonmen has him pinned against the cage. Shaw lands a shoulder strike. A short uppercut from Shaw. Shaw lands a body shot. Roy Shaw has scored more points in the clinch so far. Stonmen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Stonmen jumps guard but Shaw turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stonmen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shaw pulls him back up using the underhooks. Shaw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stonmen has him pressed against the cage. Shaw is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Stonmen jumps guard but Shaw turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Roy Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tor Stonmen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw is trying to force a seperation but Stonmen has the dominant position. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shaw. Shaw keeps control of Stonmen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stonmen is trying to maintain a safe position but Shaw gets an underhook and turns Stonmen into the cage. Shaw has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stonmen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Shaw punches the canvas rather than the man. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shaw is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shaw is striking well from the back but Stonmen escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Shaw showed his dominance in that final round. Well Shaw has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
