Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glover Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sjur Dur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sjur Dur has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Glover Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sjur Dur! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dur throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dur sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Silva works his foot free and advances to mount. Dur wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Silva lands a couple of good shots and Dur has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Silva is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Dur up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva punishes Dur with strikes from the back mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dur looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva tries to get the hooks in deep but Dur pushed the leg off. Silva connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Dur to escape the position.
Silva gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Silva loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Dur hold on?
Silva is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Dur. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Oooh a big shot gets through from Silva. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva looking for the choke but no joy. Silva is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Dur up.
Dur is rocked! Dur looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Silva lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Silva trying to control momentarily.
Dur is taking damage to the body and head. Dur wants to get back to his feet. Dur grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Dur is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A lull in the action here.
Dur seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silva scores with strikes from the back.
Dur covers up after that shot from Silva.
Silva lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Silva.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Silva gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Silva gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Silva apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Dur throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Dur feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dur finish him?!
It looks like Glover Silva has been cut. Silva throws a hook but Dur blocks it. Dur keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva misses with a double jab.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dur moves away. Silva pushes Dur up against the cage in a clinch. Dur is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks. Silva prevents Dur from breaking the clinch. Silva lands a body shot. Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dur gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Silva tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Dur stops a takedown attempt from Silva.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dur is trying to push Silva away but Silva has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dur wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Silva has Dur pressed against the cage, preventing Dur from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Silva keeps control of Dur as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The referee is keeping an eye on Silva - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dur pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dur fails with a takedown attempt. Silva misses with an uppercut. Dur saw that one coming. Silva darts in and clinches Dur up against the cage. Dur wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage. Dur is trying to force a seperation but Silva has the dominant position. Silva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dur pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Glover Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dur prevents a takedown attempt there.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Silva. Silva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dur.
Dur's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sjur Dur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dur shoots in but no luck this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva gets a takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva wants to take a breather but Dur is having none of it. Dur wants to get back to his feet. Dur on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Silva prevents Dur from standing back up.

Silva is nestled in close to Dur, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dur wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silva wants to control but Dur is keeping him busy. Silva slips a nice elbow through Dur's hands, connecting with Dur's forehead. Silva scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Silva trying to control from half guard but Dur is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glover Silva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Glover Silva's cut. That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dur did well to prevent Silva getting side control. Silva drops an elbow to the side of Dur's head. Dur pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.

Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva passes the guard and advances to mount! Dur is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dur is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Silva lands a heavy elbow. Silva is in the full mount, landing strikes. Silva scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Dur is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Silva lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dur is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
