Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, BOZ Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Heath!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter as he avoids it easily.
Tyler Heath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter tries to clinch but Heath moves out of range.
Fighter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Heath closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heath lands in his opponent's guard.
Fighter looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Heath postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fighter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Heath, into his guard.
Fighter wants to control from the top but Heath keeps moving.
Heath is looking to sinch up a triangle. Fighter throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Heath's body to avoid the submission. Heath has instead reached around Fighter's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Heath arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tyler Heath!
